  • Le Cube jukebox - new version

    For the opening of the cultural season in the town of Castanet Tolosan, the company's new partner, we are resuming the play Le Cube jukebox with part of the team and new performers.


    A piece that solicits public participation, Le Cube jukebox is an opportunity for young as well as less young to contribute to the progress of the show and to share a friendly and festive evening where they are invited, in addition to the conventional position of spectator, to a proximity to the dancers and sometimes to take part in the movements in space.

The day after tomorrow

  • Creation 2023

    Two previews of The day after tomorrow, a duo bringing together Heike Schuster and Emmanuel Grivet, took place on June 17 and 18 at the Pro Arte Studio in Freiburg-im-Bresgau.


    This season the piece will be presented in Pontedera at Spazio Nu in Italy on October 13.

    The premiere in France will take place on November 24 at the Théâtre des Trois Ponts in Castelnaudary before a series at the SÜDUFER theater in Freiburg in April 2024.


    This play involves the multiple relationships of two characters within a framework of everyday objects. Personal states, desire and momentum, past or dreamed encounters, complicity and indifference, create situations of proximity, distance, waiting or convergence.

    This question then arises: do we meet in the same space or at the same time? With the same intention, the same context? Or in different dimensions?


    The day after tomorrow, collaboration between the Emmanuel Grivet company and the German choreographer and dancer Heike Schuster, was created in residence at the company's studio in Tournefeuille, in l'Estruch (Sabadell, Catalonia), at Art Fabrik Combailaux (34) and at E-Werk studio, Freiburg-im-Brisgau (Germany) and received support from LBBW Siftung.

  • Seeing backward

    Last January, I met up with Yann Lheureux, a long-time accomplice for a week of research and for Made in... a performance for unusual and incongruous places, this time given in an old abandoned winery.


    Spring then saw us in residence in several places in Spain, France and Germany for the creation of The day after tomorrow, and we gave two beautiful Evenings at the studio which allowed us to follow and share the research of around ten artists from the region.

     

    Finally, the company was once again invited to Korea at the end of May for the International Improvisation Dance Festival Jimpro - Simpro with 4 pieces by the company, participation in 4 performances with Korean, French and Japanese artists in various places (in theater and outdoors), as well as several master classes given in Universities, for the Jeju City company and professional dance training courses. This return to Korea foreshadows a more ambitious tour and collaboration project for the year 2025.
